Finding the Path
According to Kripalu Ji Maharaj,
finding the path and doing devotions under the guidance
of a (rasik) Saint by lovingly singing and remembering
the names, virtues and the leelas of Radha Krishn.
(This is a paraphrase of Shree Chatanya Mhaprabhuji’s
Ashlishya va, which is a pad.) The devotee utters: O my
Kunj Bihari (Krishn)! I have forgotten the relationship
when I came into this world, a relationship that has been
established since eternity. You are the life and treasure
of my soul. It has been a long journey, but once I feel the
unification, I begin to understand the purpose of my
longing. I wish to be near you so you may show me Bliss. If
that is not possible, please give me the pang so that you
may turn away from me and neglect me. Do whatever makes you
happy, as your happiness is my happiness. I am always happy
when you are always happy. According to Jugadguru Shree
Kripaluji Maharaj, this is the definition of true love.
Trying to find personal happiness from Krishn is not love.
That would make the journey invaluable since that love
would be the same love you give your family and friends.
When the devotee feels unconditional love, the devotee
becomes humble and continues to beg, saying Kishori Radhey.
He is my only hope and my only protector from maya. Only He
knows how much I have failed. Only Kishori Radhey knows the
iniquity that exists within my heart. I want him to know
that all desire concerning materialistic thoughts has been
abolished. I do not long for liberation anymore. I want
you, Kishori Radhey to make me yours and make me belong to
you. I long to know if you have accepted me as Yours. When
you accept me I will drown in your love. I will forget all
worldly passions and concerns and only think about Your
love. Because of You, Kishori Radhey, the four majestic
elements (dharm, arth, kam, mokch) in life will be
insignificant to me and lose their inherent values. You are
the only one in my heart and soul. You can do anything you
want to me to your liking, so long as you come to me.
Reminiscing the virtues of Radha Rani, the devotee says:
The ultimate form of divine love in its truest and highest
form of glory is the Divine personality of Radhey Rani.
Divine love is the core of ahladini (Divine Bliss), which
sustains and embraces the other powers of God, making them
all Blissful. There are two ways to interpret this. Radha
Rani is either the absolute power of Divine love or She is
the absolute of the supreme brahm. Radhey is not fathomable
and comprehensible through the Vedas and other scriptures.
In fact, no book is required to reach Radhey Rani as she is
attainable by having a purified soul that is full of Bliss.
Though you may walk in the light of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv,
or even Shyam Sundar, there is one problem. Even with their
divinity, the can not come close to understanding the true
meaning of Radhey Rani’s virtues. As you trek further and
pursue more of Her love, you will be immersed in every
aspect of her beauty and kindness. Once you have gone far
enough, you will encounter the
Because, whenever He tries to go deeper to taste more of
the sweetness of Her love, beauty and kindness, a point
comes when His consciousness is absolutely drowned in the
absolute intimacy of Radha’s love. When you cry for her,
she comes running without any disregard about herself to
you. When you call out for Radhey repetitiously, she will
shed tears of love for you. With Radha Rani as your
guardian, you should be fearless. Her love and her
willingness to always make you happy will ensure your
protection.
You must remember the importance of Radhey. You must say
that the only fortune of the soul is Shree Radhey’s name.
Shyam Sundar Krishn only became the most famous rasik
Saint, through the kindness of Radhey’s name. It was the
allure of Her name that Krishn portrays through His flute,
fascinating Gopis he interacted with. It was with blessing
of Her name that Krishn was able to perform maharas in Braj
in dwapar yug. Krishn holds Radha Rani’s name with the
highest form of sanctity. Whenever He hears one say Her
name, He will run to that place to so He can hear Her name
again. Krishn is incomplete if the letter R is removed from
Radhey’s name, spelling out adhey. Shree Kripaluji Maharaj
says that this the greatness that Her name possesses. This
is why he asks us to sing Her name for a whole day without
any rest or pause.
